What are you looking at?

My team was tasked to create a systems design for a storefront based on the word voyage. We created a theoretical moon themed bar located on The Strip of Las Vegas, Nevada. People can go drink moonshine, play card games, and socialize.

Our mission was to provide an out of this world experience. Contrasting the lights and colors of Las Vegas, our black and white color scheme mixed with our textiles and visuals allows customers to voyage to the “moon”.

Process

We started this process by researching our word theme, voyage. Then, we bounced ideas off each other to decide what theme we wanted to pursue. We ultimately landed on a space themed bar that will give the customers an extraterrestrial experience.

We designed moonshine bottles, coasters, a deck of cards, to go alcohol pouches, and an animated billboard to gain attraction. We worked cohesively to create our word mark and patterns that are used throughout the deliverables. We laser cut the card box and moonshine coasters to keep the space aesthetic.

I wish we took better images of the deliverables. Staging a bar for the photoshoot would have shown the deliverables in a realistic setting.
